Clinical factors associated with anxiety and depression in Korean women with abnormal uterine bleeding

Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the prevalence and relationship of anxiety depression in Korean women with abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). Methods: The a questionnaire 124 aged 1555 who visited single university hospital due AUB between September 2015 December 2019. Anxiety, were assessed using Beck Anxiety Inventory (K-BAI), Depression Inventory-II (K-BDI-II). obstetrical clinical data analyzed assess association AUB. Results: Out patients, 47 (37.9%) met criteria for anxiety, 24 (19.5%) depression. most common menstrual problems seen heavy (80.7%), followed by irregular (62.9%), dysmenorrhea (55.7%), cycles (33.9%). More our had as measured K-BAI K-BDI-II. A history abortion cesarean section (C/sec) related whereas minor surgery (r = 0.629, p < 0.001) correlated AUB. Conclusion: C/sec associated risk state symptoms. are underdiagnosed undertreated Screening appropriate mental health management needed womens health.
